Machiavellian cravings

My first time dining at Bar Machiavelli was divine, I swore that was not going to be the last time I’m found there and it was not. Everything was amazing and very stylish. Our first waiter gave us some great Cocktail suggestions the cinnamon cocktail was incredible. Food was delicious, absolute perfection, just how Italian should be.

Oh And They serve Burrata Cheese!

However, I must say that The Tuna tartare, Spanish onions, capers, fennel and tomato concasse Is addictive, as for the Main Course my absolute favourites are, The Grilled John Dory with roasted Dutch potatoes and confit truss tomatoes; and Gnocchetti with scampi, prawns and a herb and white wine broth. I do Love the ocean You know!

The service was excellent just like the food, the good looking Italian Charmers were always smiling. However, the highlight was the dessert menu – OMG, what to choose? We had 3 different desserts and they were all yum! Profiteroles with ice cream and chocolate sauce was top, I love the Crème brûlée and It was also Gluten Free as, Zaki’s favourite was The Tiramisu.

The Design is edgy with dimmed lighting, very modern but it still feels warm. There were some nice projected black and white images and clips on the warehouse brick walls. I loved the Italian themed movie stars that were featured on the wall. Absolutely over the top interior.

I truly loved and considering we live around the corner, It has then become one of the restaurants we regular visit .
